Let's tell you that the Android beta app was released in October 2018 for picture-in-picture mode. With this feature, a small window will open in the user app itself. This window allows users to view Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube videos. After getting PiP support, if users click on a YouTube link then the video will start playing in the WhatsApp app.
After testing in the beta phase, a stable update has now been released for the Android platform. Update for users using Google Play Store is being rolled out. Additionally, its version number is 2.18.280. Let us know that with the latest version of WhatsApp if users click on the link sent by YouTube, Facebook, Tumblr, and Instagram, they will not be redirected to the external pages.
If the third-party video link is displayed on WhatsApp, then the user will get the thumbnail image and platform logo with the blur version of the thumbnail image. After tapping on the link, users will see the video at the top half of the chat window from PiP mode. If users want Agra, they can play video on full screen too.
